With the opening of our location, we have been busy with admin tasks and the inevitable ironing out of details that come with opening a new clinic. Summer life also brings its own buzz of business and excitement with the opportunities to be outside in nature, and for many parents/families it often means a sense of rush as the school year comes to an end. We are all subject to the natural upswing that summer brings, and the pressure to get out and get busy before the summer is gone. I even find myself getting caught up in this effect, rushing to make all of my plans fit into these short summer, prairie months.
In recognizing this, I also recognize that this can mean that the events that we do plan or attend can fly by as we cram to fit it all in. I remind myself, and pass a gentle reminder to others to stay present in your summer moments. To take the time to notice the small details in the garden, the lilacs in full bloom along the sidewalks, the rocks hidden in the sand at the beach. These bids of connection are so important in life. If you are struggling to find those bids of connection in nature, with yourself, or your loved ones, book an appointment with us today and we can help you reconnect.
